R. HART EVANS
Technical Writer
Being the son of a son of a rancher, Hart grew up on the back of a horse surrounded by the great outdoors, instilling within him a deep and abiding respect for the amazing wonders of our natural world. Working as a technical writer for ERI has provided him with the opportunity to share the innumerable lessons learned during those long-lost childhood years in a meaningful way.
Hart has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Utah State University where he initially concentrated on photojournalism but also learned a lesson or two on being a wordsmith. Hart joined ERI in 1998 and since then has been involved, in some small manner or another, in almost every project the company has undertaken. He has, among other things, written text, delivered speeches, dug trenches, conducted numerous Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, collected fish, plants and bugs, designed and installed storm water protection measures, argued with the press and ordered pizza for staff meetings - he even brews a pot of coffee when the occasion presents itself. He entertains himself by fly fishing, camping, photographing the world around him, cooking and entertaining for his many friends and, most of all, loving his beautiful wife Elisabeth and their two children, Luke and Ruth.
